It can be great to have support when choosing to lose weight and become fitter. At Choice Hypnotherapy, I offer a combination of coaching and tailor-made hypnotherapy, to make the support I provide as helpful as possible.

Weight control involves more than just wishful thinking – to achieve real physical changes you need to change your habits. But whether you need to eat differently or exercise more effectively, hypnotherapy could help you to get in the right frame of mind to set goals and stick to them. I provide therapeutic support to people who are committed to making the necessary practical changes between sessions to achieve positive results. Just three or four sessions can be enough to get you started in the right direction.

Tailor-made therapy for each individual client

Many clients find it fairly easy to identify practical changes they need to make to take control of their weight. These may include:

  • Diet & nutrition – eating and drinking healthily, to meet your nutritional needs
  • Eating habits – establishing regular mealtimes; reducing snacking; controlling portion sizes; eating slowly and enjoying your food
  • Exercise & fitness – undertaking realistic activities that fit in with your lifestyle, whether that means attending a gym, exercising at home or simply regular walking

A combination of coaching and hypnotherapy could help you to focus on making the changes you want to make. Whether you have your own approach to weight loss, or choose to follow an established programme such as Slimming World , Weight Watchers , or the 5:2 fast diet, hypnotherapy can make it easier to stick to your plans. I offer a caring and goal-directed approach - boosting motivation, confidence and self-esteem on the way to achieving real results.

For some clients, weight control isn't just about eating and exercise – emotional factors can also be hugely important. For example, the best of intentions can be eroded by stress, boredom, anxiety, loneliness, low self-esteem etc.
