What can be achieved through hypnotherapy?

Vanessa will be really pleased to help you to resolve issues and achieve changes that you really want to make.  Some of the most common issues include:

However, these are only examples, and hypnotherapy can help with a much wider range of issues. If your problem is not listed above, please contact Vanessa for advice and information, and she will advise whether hypnotherapy is likely to be helpful in your particular case.  Don't worry that your issue is too silly or complicated - hypnotherapy is tailored to meet the needs of each individual client, and conducted on a confidential one-to-one basis.


How many sessions will I need?

Many problems take only one or two sessions – for example:

·         Stopping smoking or other unwanted habits

·         Reducing nerves, or simple fears e.g. fear of spiders

However, depending on you as an individual, and the nature of the issue, a course of several treatments may be required. This will be discussed during your initial consultation, before you decide to proceed with your therapy.

Will it work?

Hypnotherapy can be incredibly helpful for many people, and Vanessa does her utmost to make it as effective as possible for each client.  You should remember, though, that we are all individuals, and no guarantee can - or should - be given that any type of therapy will work for everyone.  Hypnotherapy is not a magic wand - it is a process where the therapist and client work together to achieve beneficial changes.  Both need to understand the desired outcome of the therapy, and be equally committed to achieving that result.  

Treatment is likely to be most effective for clients who are truly motivated to make their desired change, and are willing to participate fully in the treatment and change process.  Vanessa will use her all of her skills and experience of hypnotherapy to help you, and if you fully utilise that help in your daily life, you have a great chance to make your change a lasting reality.
