How many sessions will I need? Many problems take only one or two sessions – for example: · Stopping smoking or other unwanted habits · Reducing nerves, or simple fears e.g. fear of spiders However, depending on you as an individual, and the nature of the issue, a course of several treatments may be required. This will be discussed during your initial consultation, before you decide to proceed with your therapy. Hypnotherapy can be incredibly helpful for many people, and Vanessa does her utmost to make it as effective as possible for each client. You should remember, though, that we are all individuals, and no guarantee can - or should - be given that any type of therapy will work for everyone. Hypnotherapy is not a magic wand - it is a process where the therapist and client work together to achieve beneficial changes. Both need to understand the desired outcome of the therapy, and be equally committed to achieving that result.
